Most stress management “tips” are external and may be helpful to temporarily relieve stress. However, until the root of the stress issue or issues are identified and addressed, it will be like fire fighting an ever increasing flame with a pail of water.

With stress, it is important to address it holistically, considering both the emotional and biological aspects at the same time as they are strongly interlinked. Understanding how your body responds to stress and uncovering the root cause or causes of the triggers are important first steps to begin the journey to eliminating stress.

Stress is a normal reaction to exciting events like falling in love, getting a new job, or buying a home. Stress is also a hardwired survival technique built into your body as a means of protection. When triggers arise, the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) signals the “fight or flight response”, which mobilizes you to take action and avoid danger.

The issue is that your body doesn’t know the difference between a bear chasing you and workrelated anxiety.

Your body’s stress response is perfectly healthy when there’s a real emergency (like a bear chasing you), but if your body is constantly getting stress signals for everyday issues (eg. workrelated anxiety), you’ll burn out over time.

Stress levels are not only affected by your environment and surroundings or from your
relationships. They are also affected by the foods that you take. Very often many of us are getting too few essential nutrients necessary for optimum cellular nutrition. This impacts on our nervous system which influences on how we cope or response to stress.

Externals: stress, social, environment, etc

Our surroundings do impact our behaviour and thoughts. Here we go through an awareness process to identify what they are, understand what we can change and learn to manage what we have no control of.

You and your Health Coach

We will match you with a personal Health Coach after you complete a detailed questionnaire and have completed a video session with us. This is so you get the best fit with a health coach that understands and empathises with your health struggles. She will customise the program to your needs, progress and guide you through your transformation.

Accountability

There’s a huge difference between knowing what to do and actually doing it. That is why it is important to have daily and personal accountability. Your Health Coach will hold you accountable while guiding and supporting you every step of the way.

Discovery Sessions

What are discovery sessions?
Diet, exercise and health program don’t work for everyone because of Bio Individuality. The discovery sessions are designed to help you dive deep to uncover contributing factors you are unaware of.

These 45-minute fortnightly sessions with your health coach entails:

  • Digging deep into the root cause of your health  issue.
  • Working out practical and simple steps to address those root issues.
  • Reviewing the steps taken and the improvements made.
